Police were called to Discount Tyres on Harrison Street, Blackburn after 15 vehi![]()
cles were stolen during April 2019.
The gates to the premises had been broken, with a number of vehicles stolen. These included a variety of expensive vehicles including an Audi A4 S-line, Volkswagen Golf GTI, Honda CR-V and a Toyota Prius.
6 of the 15 vehicles have been recovered by officers, with the other 9 still to be found.
A member of staff at a neighbouring business is stated;
“We are all confused how the people involved got all the cars out at once. It’s really worrying to think there’s people out there who are willing to do this”
2 people were arrested and subsequently released pending an investigation for dangerous driving, drug driving and burglary after officers found them driving the Volkswagen GTI.
